Role Description
*Do you want to contribute to the future of cloud platforms in an international green-tech company? Are you interested in software development and cloud-native technologies? Do you want to contribute to digital solutions that enable a more sustainable future?*
**Here Is What Your Role Entails**
As an intern in Cloud and Platform Engineering, you will contribute to designing and developing tools and infrastructure that empower our internal software teams to build world-class solutions. You will gain hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure while working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, and developing reusable components that improve speed and quality in development.
During your internship you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies and tools, including:
* Cloud Native / CNCF ecosystem
* GitLab
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Microsoft Azure
* GitOps, Containers and Kubernetes
During the internship you will be supported by experienced colleagues and your tasks will be defined based on your interests and skills.
**Meet your future team**
You will become part of a dedicated team of 8 Cloud and Platform Engineers who are passionate about building the future development platforms at Kamstrup. Our mission is to empower engineers to move fast and support organizational growth at scale. The team culture is collaborative, curious, and solution oriented. We value practical problem-solving and creating tools that truly support developers.
Did you know? Our team includes Denmark’s first Golden Kubestronaut—and some of us have even attempted to memorize all 5,000 answers to a quiz game!
**Less About Us, More About You**
We are looking for a motivated student eager to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. You have a genuine interest in software development and cloud-native technologies, and you enjoy solving problems through collaboration and curiosity.
* In order to succeed we imagine that you:
* Are pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant field
* Have an interest in DevOps practices and modern development workflows
* Are curious about the CNCF and cloud-native ecosystem
* Work in a responsible and detail-oriented manner, while approaching challenges with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
As we are an international organisation it is important that you are fluent in English.
Whilst you may not meet all the qualifications listed above, this is an internship position, and we value curiosity and a willingness to learn just as much as experience. If the role interests you and you are motivated to grow, we encourage you to apply.
**We offer more than just an internship**
At Kamstrup, your contribution as an intern is highly valued, and we cherish the good colleagueship. Therefore, you will experience an internship with a strong focus on your individual development through challenging tasks, career sparring, voluntary courses, as well as social events and a large network. We are proud, that our internship program has resulted in Studenterhus Aarhus granting us with the Mentor Award, the Internationalization Award, the Jury’s Special Award and the award for East Jutland’s Best Internship.
Besides the best program, we also offer:
* The internship is paid if your place of study allows it
* Multiple internship events and weekly internship lunches
* Employee benefits including a healthy canteen, fitness facilities, in-house dental clinic, hairdresser, and a free health clinic
* An active employee association, that fosters a collaborative and supportive workplace community
