Role Description
We're looking for a frontend engineering intern who builds with AI, not just alongside it. You should be comfortable using tools like Claude Code as your primary development workflow, treating AI as a true coding partner to ship features faster and with higher quality. You'll work on real product features from day one, building polished, production grade interfaces using our stack: React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui. We move fast and expect you to stay on top of the latest in frontend development and AI assisted coding, constantly experimenting with new approaches to accelerate delivery.
**What we're looking for:**
Someone who can prompt effectively, debug AI generated code with confidence, and knows when to lean on AI versus when to write from scratch. You should have a strong foundation in frontend fundamentals and hands on experience (or deep familiarity) with component libraries like shadcn/ui, utility first CSS with Tailwind, and modern build tooling like Vite. Bonus if you've built side projects or shipped features using AI coding tools.
**What you'll do:**
Build and iterate on UI components, integrate APIs, collaborate on design implementation, and contribute to a fast moving product used by CPA firms across the US. You'll operate with real ownership, ship to real users, and learn what it means to build at startup speed with AI as your superpower.
