Software Engineer Intern- Back end

About the Role We are looking for a **Software Engineer Intern (Backend)** to join our engineering team and help build reliable, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to design APIs, develop backend services, work with databases, and solve real-world engineering problems. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain **backend services, APIs, and microservices**. * Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code. * Work with databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize data access. * Build and integrate **REST APIs** with frontend applications and external services. * Debug issues, investigate production problems, and improve system reliability. * Write unit and integration tests for backend functionality. * Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices. * Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders. * Learn and contribute to system design, performance optimization, and deployment processes.
