AI Engineering Intern – Hardware & Voice AI

About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic **AI Engineering Intern** who is interested in building AI-powered systems that interact with the physical world. The ideal candidate should have an interest in **hardware integration, microphones, speakers, voice interfaces, and AI systems**. Key Responsibilities * Assist in developing and testing **AI-powered voice applications** * Work with **microphones, speakers, audio devices, and embedded hardware** * Integrate hardware components with AI/ML systems * Work with **speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and voice assistants** * Test audio input/output and troubleshoot hardware-related issues * Assist with AI model and API integration * Develop prototypes combining **AI \+ hardware** * Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization * Document technical work and experiments Requirements * Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in **AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field** * Basic understanding of **AI/ML concepts** * Knowledge of **microphones, speakers, audio systems, or hardware components** * Basic programming skills, preferably **Python** * Understanding of APIs and software-hardware integration is a plus * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills * Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies Good to Have * Experience with **Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP32, or similar platforms** * Knowledge of **LLMs, OpenAI APIs, speech recognition, or voice AI** * Familiarity with **Linux, IoT, embedded systems, or electronics** * Basic understanding of audio processing Internship Details **Duration:** 3–6 Months **Type:** Paid Internship **Work Mode:** Hybrid **Stipend:** 600 to 2000 What You Will Learn * AI \+ hardware integration * Voice AI and conversational systems * Speech recognition and text-to-speech * Audio hardware testing * AI APIs and LLM integration * Real-world AI product development **Who Should Apply?** Students or freshers who are genuinely interested in **AI Engineering \+ Hardware \+ Voice Technology** and want hands-on experience building real-world AI systems.
