Business Analyst (CO-OP Fall to Spring)
Role Description

Responsibilities
* Assist in gathering and documenting business and user requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
* Support the creation and maintenance of user stories, business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, and other project documentation.
* Work with product, development, and quality assurance teams to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
* Help create low-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and process diagrams to support solution design.
* Participate in application testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case preparation, and
* validation of business requirements.
* Conduct research and analysis to identify product improvements, industry trends, and customer needs.
* Assist in troubleshooting and documenting product issues while collaborating with technical teams on potential solutions.
* Support stakeholder communication by tracking requirements, updates, and project activities.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
* Contribute to product roadmaps, feature prioritization discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Interest in product management, business analysis, enterprise software, and technology solutions.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Design Thinking, or software development concepts is considered an asset.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
* Basic understanding of business process analysis and documentation techniques.
* Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration platforms.
* Knowledge of SAP technologies, cloud applications, or enterprise software is considered an asset but not required.
