Shift: First Shift Job Summary: **Target start date: May 11, 2026** We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Administrator Intern to join our IT Infrastructure team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure. Intern Logistics: * Location: Onsite - Denver, HQ Greenwood Village * Hours: Prefer full-time will work with school schedule * Internship Expected Start Date: ** May/Summer, September/Fall** Duties/Responsibilities: * Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and network equipment. * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. * Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues. * Perform regular backups and data recovery operations. * Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. * Ensure security and compliance by implementing updates and patches as needed. * Assist with the deployment of new technologies and system upgrades. * Act as a Teir II support administrator. * Participate in IT projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. **Experience and Skills:** Skills/Abilities: * Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. * Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python. * Understanding of IT security principles and best practices. * Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Basic understanding of network and server administration concepts. * Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies. * Excellent customer service skills.
