System Test Engineering (Trainee)

Astemo is one of the major actors on brake development market. At Astemo several innovative braking systems are developed for international automotive industries. As part of the autonomous vehicle development program, the testing department is developing tools and methods to validate the Automatic Parking Brake (APB) at software and system level. Your goal is to conduct system studies and evaluate the proposed solutions in term of robustness and performance. Several topics can be conducted during this internship 1\) Stroke sensor study * State of the art * Perform robustness, performance tests and Repeatability test on several brakes type * Test analysis : (dispersion, repeatability, accuracy, etc...) : propose several approaches * Provide complete documentation * If product performance confirmed, thus provide complete documentation and working instruction 2\) Voltage fluctuation * State of the art * Benchmark of available products * Conduct study with actual material * Perform robustness, performance tests and Repeatability with serveral voltage profiles * Evaluate the impact on the software robustness to voltage fluctuation * Test analysis : (dispersion, repeatability, accuracy, etc...) : propose several approaches * Provide complete documentation 3\) Impedance variation * State of the art * Evaluate the possibility to change the impedance value during the tests * Propose solution to make this variation possible (mechanical, software, etc...) * Conduct a benchmark study to propose solution * Perform test to confirm the use of this new material * Provide documentation
