SW Engineer (Intern)

You will be working on existing systems, developing and testing backend components, and supporting ongoing software improvements. As a motivated SW Engineer intern, you will contribute to building reliable and maintainable backend solutions. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work in an Agile team to design, build, and improve backend services that support the company’s vision and strategy. **You Will Make an Impact by** * Developing backend components using Golang and C\+\+ * Working with and enhancing existing codebases * Writing and maintaining unit tests * Using Git for version control and collaborating through code reviews * Working in a Linux-based development environment * Software troubleshooting and bug fixing * Documenting development processes **Skills You Bring** * Basic programming skills in Golang * Basic programming skills in C\+\+ * Understanding of core OOP principles * Ability to work with Git version control system * Basic knowledge of Linux (command line usage, understanding of the file system) * Understanding of unit testing principles * Willingness to learn and grow in backend development * Ability to understand and work with existing code * Responsible approach to tasks and meeting deadlines * English B1 or higher **Nice to Have** * General understanding of microservices architecture * Basic knowledge of Kubernetes * Understanding of REST API and gRPC principles * Experience with or general knowledge of Helm * Basic experience with GitLab (repositories, CI/CD) * Basic knowledge of SQL * Familiarity with the MQTT protocol * Ability to work with AI agents **What We Offer** * 1-year contract. * Part-time: 20 hours per week. * Competitive Salary. * Modern comfortable office in Nemiga * Opportunity to attend free language courses (English)
