It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world. **Why this role?** As a R\&D Engineer Intern at Snyk, you'll use your development skills, passion, and problem-solving abilities to create software that ensures the security of other software products. ### **How You’ll Spend Your Time:** * Collaborating with our engineers to understand project requirements and contribute meaningfully to the development process. * Leveraging best practices and modern technologies to maintain and extend our core services. * Working across the full stack and the entire development lifecycle to build, test, deploy, and support high-quality, reliable, and performant services. * Promoting code quality through active participation in code reviews and the application of engineering best practices. * Contributing directly to products that are used by developer communities around the world. * Networking across Snyk, joining "Impact" events, building professional soft skills, and engaging with a global cohort of early-career talent. ### **What You’ll Need:** * An eagerness to learn new technologies and a high degree of adaptability to change. * Familiarity with programming languages such as TypeScript or Go. * Foundational understanding of relational database design (e.g. PostgreSQL). * A proactive attitude and a sense of accountability, paired with the ability to work independently. * A passion for problem-solving and a desire to understand the "why" behind the code. #LI-WR1 *We care deeply about the warm, inclusive environment we’ve created and we value diversity – we welcome applications from those typically underrepresented in tech.
