Software Development Intern

**About the Company** We run a commodity trading and export/import business dealing in agricultural products pigeon peas, soya bean, sesame, cashew nuts, chickpeas, cocoa, and more with operations spanning Tanzania, Malawi, Nigeria, and Senegal. Alongside the trading side, we build our own internal software tools to run logistics, costing, and operations which is where you'd come in. **About the Role** We're looking for a Software Development Intern to build and improve the internal tools that run our business. This is hands-on, real-world dev. experience not shadowing, not busywork. **What You'll Work On** * Build features for real, live web applications (React frontend, Python/SQL backend) not toy projects * Write and ship production code that's actually used to run business operations * Work with databases (SQL/Supabase) designing schemas, writing queries, optimizing data flow * Build automation scripts that eliminate manual, repetitive work * Debug and improve existing codebases learn to read other people's code, not just write your own * Take a feature end-to-end: understand the requirement, build it, test it, ship it **Why This Internship Is Different** * Direct ownership no layers, no bureaucracy, real decisions * Everything you build gets used immediately in a live business, not shelved * Fast learning curve you'll touch frontend, backend, and databases, not just one slice **Requirements** * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science / IT or related field * Basic knowledge of React, Python, and SQL * Self-motivated and comfortable working independently * Good problem-solving skills **Good to Have** * Familiarity with Git/GitHub * Exposure to Supabase/PostgreSQL * Interest in logistics, trade, or agri-commodity domains **Details** * Location: Navi Mumbai (on-site) * Duration: 3 months * Stipend: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month Pay: ₹10,000\.00 - ₹15,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
