Role Description
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team. **Responsibilities**
* Assist in designing and implementing data collection processes using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools like Talend and scripting languages such as Python and Bash (Unix shell).
* Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics for various stakeholders.
* Support database design and management within Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational database systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies to manage projects effectively within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Perform comprehensive data analysis using R, SQL, and other analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business strategies.
* Contribute to business analysis activities by translating complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
* Document processes visually with Visio and maintain detailed records of project progress and findings.
**Experience**
* Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field.
* Familiarity with data analysis skills including SQL querying, statistical methods, and data visualization techniques.
* Hands-on experience or coursework involving Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar BI tools.
* Basic understanding of SDLC principles and Agile project management practices.
* Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
* Exposure to database design concepts and experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases is preferred.
* Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets accurately.
