Software QA Intern (Paid Internship)

We are looking for a **Software Quality Assurance Intern** with a strong eye for quality and consistency, good communication skills, and the ability to perform tasks carefully and accurately. The intern will help create and execute test cases, prepare user manuals and testing documentation, report software issues, and support the improvement and optimization of web applications. The role may also involve automation testing; therefore, applicants should have basic programming knowledge and a willingness to learn and apply automation tools. The intern will work closely with the Business Analysts, Developers, and Support teams to ensure the quality and timely delivery of software products. **Responsibilities:** * Perform thorough testing of EGS software products to ensure a high level of software quality. * Execute test cases and document the results accurately. * Identify, record, and report software defects and other issues. * Coordinate with developers and other team members regarding reported issues and possible solutions. * Prepare and maintain test cases, testing documentation, and user manuals. * Assist in creating and maintaining automated test scripts when needed. * Participate in quality assurance activities and recommend improvements to testing processes. **Requirements:** * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Basic knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies. * Basic programming knowledge or experience. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies. * Knowledge of or experience with automation testing tools is an advantage.
