For more information about LGESVT, please visit www.lgensol-vt.com. **Position Overview** LGES Vertech is seeking motivated interns and co-op students to join our EMO/AI Data team and contribute to cutting-edge projects addressing some of the most complex challenges in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). As an intern, you will have the opportunity to apply data science methods and advanced algorithms to enhance our suite of data-driven products, driving innovations that make BESS safer, more reliable, and more efficient in grid integration. **Key Responsibilities** * Collaborate with the Data Science team to support research, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and the development of data models. * Research industry best practices and applications of algorithms in battery analytics to inform and enhance project approaches. * Assist in building, testing, and validating machine learning pipeline for performance optimization in BESS. * Communicate findings through clear visualizations, presentations, and documentation to support knowledge sharing across technical and non-technical teams. **Skills and Experience:** * Junior/Senior in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or equivalent BS degree * Proficient in Python and standard AI/ML tools and packages * Experience working in a Linux environment * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Snowflake/GCP) and Docker containers * Good understanding of SW design methodologies * User-level experience with Git * Legally authorized to work in the USA without any visa sponsorship
