Join us at Ampere and work alongside a passionate and growing team - we’d love to have you apply! **About The Role** * As a Technical Intern, Software Engineer, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in designing, implementing, testing and debugging robust and innovative Ampere's Platform Manageability Software stack for our customer reference designs. You will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with and learn from experienced software development engineers to create a breakthrough implementation for cloud computing manageability. The experience at Ampere that you will possess will be valuable for your career path. **What You’ll Achieve** * Develop various features for Ampere’s Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) software and firmware for managing our ARM64 server reference designs. * Design, develop, and execute unit and automation test cases for BMC features developed by Ampere or open-source community. * Provide bug fixes for issues reported by development test teams as well as customers. * Assist in the implementation of manageability framework and protocols defined by standard bodies. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, and indeed additional responsibilities may be assigned, as required, by the management. **About You** * Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, excellent team player. * Coursework or experience in programming with C, C\+\+, and scripting languages such as Perl or Python. * Experience in writing sustainable and maintainable quality code. * Ability to debug, root cause, and resolve issues spanning multiple subsystems. * Proven ability to own problems and drive them to resolution. * Solid software engineering fundamentals (testing, CI/CD, modular design). * Good communication skills, both verbal and written. * Willingness to learn about new domains. * Familiarity with libraries for AI/ML model training and inference is a plus. * Hands-on experience working on AI/ML applications and software projects is a plus. **Education** * Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering as a 3rd or 4th year student with strong academic record or equivalent. **What We’ll Offer** At Ampere we believe in taking care of our interns and providing a competitive monthly stipend and allowance.
