Role Description
*This internship places you at the heart of Robeco’s digital workplace transformation, where you’ll help shape the future of AI‑powered work.*
You will drive responsible AI adoption, build practical prompt libraries, design engaging training and communication materials, and support employees in getting the most out of Microsoft 365 Copilot. You’ll collaborate with specialists across IT and the business, developing a unique mix of technical, analytical, and creative skills. With real responsibility and meaningful projects this internship is suitable for anyone eager to explore how people and AI can work smarter together.
The Workplace \& Productivity Solutions (WPS) team ensures that Robeco employees can work securely, efficiently, and collaboratively across our digital workplace. We drive innovation in productivity tooling, device management, Microsoft 365 technologies, and now also AI‑powered work. As Robeco accelerates its enterprise AI journey, WPS plays a key role in responsible AI adoption, prompt engineering, and supporting employees in using AI securely and effectively.
The full-time internships typically last around 4–5 months.
**Internship focus areas**
Depending on your background and interests, activities may include:
* AI adoption enablement
* Supporting rollout of AI capabilities, analyzing adoption bottlenecks, and helping design interventions to improve usage (training \& prompt-a-thons).
* Prompt engineering
* Developing and refining prompts for workplace scenarios (productivity, compliance, reporting, automation), and helping curate a reusable prompt library.
* AI communication \& training
* Creating clear and engaging communication, demos, guides, and training materials to help colleagues use AI safely and effectively.
* Data‑driven insights
* Assisting with analysis of adoption metrics, Copilot usage data, and improvement opportunities across the organization.
**Who we are looking for**
We are seeking HBO or WO students in one of the following areas: Communication, Digital Communication, Media, Business Communication, Change Management, Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Science, Human‑Technology Interaction, or related fields.
You are enthusiastic about the role of AI in the modern workplace and eager to explore how people and technology interact. You can switch easily between analytical thinking and creative design, and you enjoy translating complex topics into understandable, practical content.
**Key requirements**
* Strong communication skills: Ability to write clearly, structure information, and explain AI concepts in understandable terms.
* Presentation skills: You are comfortable presenting in front of groups, clearly communicating ideas, and leading interactive sessions or workshops.
* Analytical mindset: You can break down complex problems and evaluate AI output critically.
* Affinity with AI \& M365: Interest in AI tools, digital workplace solutions, and modern productivity platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot).
* Creative problem‑solving: Ability to design prompts, examples, and training content.
* Stakeholder skills: Comfortable working with different teams, gathering feedback, and iterating on deliverables.
* Research-driven approach: You work diligently, document your findings, and support your conclusions with evidence.
* Eligible for internship: You are enrolled at an HBO/WO institution and can commit to a 4–5 month full‑time internship.
Our interns must also be eligible for a residence permit to do an internship in the Netherlands. This means we can recruit EU citizens studying at a global university or non-EU citizens studying at a Dutch university.
