Cybersecurity Intern (Web & API Security)

Key Responsibilities * Assist in identifying and mitigating security risks across the platform, including frontend, backend APIs, and databases * Support efforts to secure client credentials and authentication flows (e.g., login, token handling, session management) * Help test and identify vulnerabilities in API endpoints (e.g., improper access control, data exposure) * Assist in reviewing frontend security practices (e.g., XSS prevention, secure data handling) * Support basic security checks for backend systems, including databases and caching systems (e.g., Redis) * Perform vulnerability scanning and assist in penetration testing using tools * Work with developers to verify and retest security fixes * Assist in monitoring logs and identifying suspicious or abnormal activities * Document security findings and recommend improvements Requirements * Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field * Basic understanding of web security concepts * Familiarity with security tools * Basic knowledge of networking and APIs * Some experience with programming (Python, Java, or similar) is a plus * Strong willingness to learn and take initiative Bonus Skills (Good to Have) * Understanding of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth, etc.) * Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Contabo, etc.) 职位类型：实习生 合同期限： 3 月 薪资： RM800\.00至RM900\.00（每月 ） Work Location: 现场办公
