Role Description
**Role: SDE Intern / SDE I (0–1 Years)**
We’re looking for enthusiastic engineers who love building scalable systems and solving real-world problems. If you enjoy working on backend systems, APIs, and high-performance applications — and see AI as your coding companion — you’ll fit right in.
**What You’ll Do**
* Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using **Java \& Spring Boot**
* Work on **API integrations** (REST/SOAP), including reading and understanding API documentation
* Contribute to building **scalable microservices and workflows**
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
* Debug issues and help optimize performance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Ops)
* Use AI tools as a **pair programmer, code reviewer, and productivity multiplier**
**What We’re Looking For**
* 0–1 years of experience (Internship/Project experience counts)
* Strong fundamentals in **Data Structures \& Algorithms**
* Basic knowledge of **Java (8\+)**
* Understanding of **REST APIs, Microservices, and Backend fundamentals**
* Familiarity with concepts like **caching, rate limiting, and system design (basic)**
* Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn fast
* Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced environment
**Good to Have**
* Hands-on project experience (college / internship)
* Exposure to **consumer-facing applications**
* Understanding of scalability and performance basics
* Curiosity to explore and apply **AI in development workflows**
**Internship Details**
* **Duration:** 3 months
* **Conversion:** Full-time opportunity based on performance
* High performers will be considered for **SDE I (Full-Time)** roles
