Join our engineering team as an AI/LLM Software Intern and contribute to the development of intelligent, AI-powered systems. In this role you will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and iterate on features that leverage large language models and modern AI infrastructure. You will gain hands-on experience with real-world AI engineering challenges — from prompt and context design to integrating LLM capabilities into production workflows. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their work, can operate with a high degree of autonomy, and is eager to grow in the rapidly evolving field of AI engineering.

**Responsibilities**
* Assist in the design and development of AI-powered features and LLM-based workflows
* Contribute to the integration of large language models into existing systems and pipelines
* Research and evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices
* Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and iterative development cycles
* Document findings, experiments, and technical decisions clearly and concisely
* Manage your own tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision
**Must-have requirements**
* Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with LLMs, AI engineering, or machine learning
* Autonomous, self-managed work style with strong ownership mindset
* Solid programming skills in Python or a similar language
* Excellent problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity
* On-going university studies (MSc/BSc) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM field
* Fluent verbal and written English communication skills
**Nice-to-have requirements**
* Experience with context engineering and prompt design techniques
* Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
* Familiarity with Google Vertex AI or other managed AI/ML cloud platforms
* Experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-use / agent frameworks
* Exposure to vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search systems
* Familiarity with API integration and backend development
