Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed. **What You’ll Do** Role Overview: The Business Analyst in the Data Center Sourcing \& Capacity Management will support with analytics, forecasting, and strategic sourcing. For this role, an analytical mindset, communication skills, and a structured approach is required to help the organization make data-backed sourcing and capacity decisions that directly impact SAP’s cloud delivery efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** * Support strategic data center capacity planning by analyzing global demand forecasts, infrastructure growth trends, and utilization metrics. * Assist in sourcing and contracting processes for data center capacity extensions and reductions, collaborating with procurement and legal teams. * Develop and maintain capacity tracking and forecasting dashboards using tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or SAP S/4HANA. * Support capacity monitoring and performance reporting across global GCID-managed data centers. * Contribute to the development of governance models and sourcing frameworks to standardize and optimize infrastructure-related decisions. * Analyze supplier performance data, contract KPIs, and operational metrics to ensure sourcing efficiency. * Facilitate collaboration between sourcing specialists, project managers, and finance stakeholders to ensure alignment between demand and capacity planning. * Participate in the continuous improvement of capacity reporting and data quality management processes. **What You Bring** * Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. * 1–3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, capacity planning, sourcing, or infrastructure management. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. * Experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere, or similar data management and visualization tools. * Familiarity with data center operations, infrastructure lifecycle, or strategic procurement is an asset. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across global teams. * Proficiency Excel (VBA), SAP Analytics Cloud for data analysis. * Working knowledge of Jira/Confluence or similar collaboration tools. * Fluent in English (C1 level), German or Any other European language skills are a plus. #SAPNextGen **Bring out your best** SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
