IT (System Implementation) Intern

**Job Duties:** * Assist in developing and enhancing features for the EmplX system. * Assist in investigating, debugging and resolving software issues. * Write, review and modify program code under guidance from senior developers. * Develop and maintain SQL queries, functions and database-related components. * Perform unit testing and support QA testing of new features and bug fixes. * Analyze system requirements and assist in translating requirements into technical solutions. * Assist in maintaining and improving existing system modules. * Participate in code reviews and technical discussions. * Prepare and maintain technical documentation where required. * Perform other software development tasks assigned by the supervisor. **Education:** * Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent **Required Skill Set:** * MySQL, PostgreSQL knowledge is an advantage. **Other pre-requisites:** * Strong interest in software and product development. * Willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks. * Logical and analytical thinking. * Detail-oriented and quality-conscious. * Good teamwork and communication skills. * Proactive in researching and solving problems. * Able to work independently with guidance.
