Winter Co-op - Systems Engineer - Supportability Team

**Standard Job Description** ---------------------------- The candidate will participate in engineering activities including but not limited to: * Hardware and software design and requirements analysis * Review and analyze vendor data for: * Reliability, Availability and Maintainability predictions * Failure Modes, Effects, & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) * Appropriately placed repair, sparing, and lifecycle cost predictions * Functional Block Diagrams (FBDs) * Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) * Participating in design and system architecture reviews * Ensuring Design for Supportability and Engineering for Supportability (Dependability, affordability, standardization, upgradeability) activities are being considered and captured. **Basic Qualifications** ------------------------ * Pursuing a degree in System/Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field * Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner * Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio * Technical mindset to breakdown systems into logical units * Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and their components * Aptitude for working well in teams and solving challenging problems in a team environment * Ability to work independently * Well organized, capable of planning, scheduling and prioritizing work * Available for a minimum of four (4) months, up to eight (8) months, starting September 2026. **Desired Skills** ------------------ * Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) * Knowledge of Systems Modelling Language (SysML), Unified Modelling Language (UML) * Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office, Visio, SharePoint, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS®), Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Jira * Results-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude.
