Software QA Intern

***REQUIREMENT: FULL WORK ON SITE IN ORTIGAS, PASIG*** The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Tester Intern supports the marketing team to ensure that a new product in development (software) as well as the final product itself is error-free and meets standards for operating and usage. He/She also ensures that released products are performing as they should. **Responsibilities:** * Perform cross browser testing and cross-platform testing. * Estimate testing efforts based on requirements and create test cases * Log and track defects into completion * Provide accurate status report * Perform regression testing, exploratory testing and adhoc testing * Perform User Acceptance testing * Provide solutions/strategies to improve the testing process **Minimum Qualifications** * Has a deep understanding of agile development cycle * Has experience in using defect tracking tools * Proven work experience in software quality assurance * Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes * Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum software development process * Excellent attention to detail * Good oral and written communication skills * Ability to adhere to tight deadlines * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Must be able to work independently as well as in a team * Can work independently with minimum supervision * Knowledge in automation testing is a plus Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
