**About the role** All Asian Countertrade, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Interns/On-the-Job Trainees for our IT department. As an Intern/On-the-Job Trainee in IT, you will work alongside experienced IT professionals, gaining hands-on experience in help desk and IT support operations. This role is instrumental in supporting our organization's technological infrastructure whilst providing you with practical industry exposure and mentorship that will shape your professional development. **Key responsibilities** * Provide first-line technical support to end-users, responding to IT help desk tickets and resolving common hardware and software issues * Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices * Support the monitoring and troubleshooting of network connectivity and system performance * Help maintain IT asset inventory and documentation systems * Participate in IT maintenance activities, including software updates and system patches * Document technical issues and solutions in the ticketing system * Learn and apply best practices in IT support and customer service * Support IT team members with various administrative and technical tasks as assigned **What we're looking for** * Currently enrolled in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field * Requiring an internship/OJT completion as part of the academic curriculum. * Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux) * Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems or IT support concepts (preferred but not essential) * Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues * Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users * Keen attention to detail and organizational ability * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes * Proficiency in English, both written and verbal * Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professional standards **What We Offer:** * Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals. * A collaborative and supportive work culture. * Certificate of Completion upon successful conclusion of the internship.
