IT Intern

**Job Summary** Flipside AI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **IT Intern** to support the IT team in maintaining the company’s technical infrastructure. The intern will assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment, and providing basic technical support to employees. This internship provides hands-on experience in IT operations, networking, and system support within a professional work environment. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, and network devices. * Provide basic technical support to employees experiencing hardware, software, or connectivity issues. * Help troubleshoot issues related to computers, printers, networks, UPS devices, and CCTV systems. * Assist in monitoring system and network performance to ensure efficient operation. * Support the IT team in maintaining and organizing IT equipment and inventory records. * Assist in basic network support tasks and learn fundamental networking concepts such as TCP/IP and the OSI model. * Help with hardware maintenance, upgrades, and repairs under supervision. * Assist in documenting IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. * Support data protection and security practices by following company IT policies. * Provide assistance in preparing simple visual materials (e.g., dashboards, basic graphics, or presentations) when needed. * Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned by the IT Supervisor or IT Manager. **Qualifications** * Currently pursuing or recently completed a **Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field**. * Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts. * Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, office productivity tools, and basic troubleshooting. * Willingness to learn new technologies and IT systems. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. * Highly organized with good attention to detail.
