QA Support Intern

**Job Summary:** The QA Support Intern participates in the daily operations of the Support Service team, focusing on software quality assurance and regression testing, test data preparation, and support for change management and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. The role also involves assisting with functional/technical specification documentation, giving hands-on exposure to software QA practices within a live enterprise environment. **Job Duties and Responsibilities:** * Work alongside the CSS Support Service Team to support software QA and regression testing activities * Set up and maintain test data within the QA environment for regression and functional testing * Execute test cases, record results, and log defects with clear reproduction steps * Support design and change management activities, including participation in testing and UAT * Assist in developing and maintaining functional and technical specifications * Support all functional areas as needed, including building, cleaning, and analyzing data used for test scenarios * Assist in the development of user training materials related to tested features and system changes * Contribute to QA documentation, test scripts, and knowledge base articles based on testing outcomes * Coordinate with L1 Support to identify recurring issues that may indicate underlying defects * Perform other related QA/support tasks as assigned by the Support Service Manager **Qualification:** * Currently pursuing a degree in BS Information Technology, BS Computer Science, BS Accounting Technology, BS Mathematics, or a related course * Analytic thinker and problem solver with a level of accuracy and attention to detail * Knowledgeable in SQL - databases, queries, functions, and stored procedures * Excellent understanding of coding methods and software development best practices * Basic understanding of QA concepts - test cases, defect logging, and regression testing * Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills * Preferably able to use the majority of the following languages: *PHP, VB, Java Script, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap* * Good scholastic record is an advantage; * Office assignment will be in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City * With internship allowance Pay: Php695.00 per day Benefits: * Company events Ability to commute/relocate: * Taguig: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Application Question(s): * Is this a required or voluntary internship? * How many hours are you required to render?
