DOC seeks to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Center Intern to support the Information Technology Division. As a Data Center Intern, you will play a crucial role in the management of disaster recovery, maintenance, security, and administration of our servers, operating systems, databases, and network-attached storage. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the lifecycle of hardware and software, from installation to troubleshooting, maintenance, and ultimate decommissioning. Responsibilities: * Install and configure servers, storage solutions, and network equipment across multiple data centers, ensuring compliance with security policies and addressing critical vulnerabilities. * Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to maintain optimal performance, reliability, and security of the data center infrastructure. * Support the management of disaster recovery processes and security measures to protect sensitive information and systems. Preferred Skills: * Proficient in Windows Batch and PowerShell scripting. * Experience with Linux shell scripting. * Familiarity with Windows and Linux access control and permissions. * Understanding of fiber and copper cabling.
