Software Engineer Intern

**About Dalton** Dalton is an AI-native CRO and website optimization platform for online stores, based in Ghent. We help e-commerce teams run smarter experiments and see, per variant, what actually moves conversion, replacing guesswork with a system that tests and learns on its own. We're a small team. Standards are high and the pace is fast; we'd rather fix things in the room than in a meeting. **The role** An engineering internship where you sit with the team that builds the product, not off to the side on a toy project. You'll write code that ships to real customers, on a platform that runs autonomous experiments and AI agents in production. Small team, three engineers, so what you build gets used and gets noticed. **What you'll do** • Ship real features on the Dalton platform, working directly with our engineers • Help build and test experiments and agent behavior, not just UI • Fix bugs and improve parts of the product customers use every day • Learn how a small team takes something from idea to shipped, fast **What we're looking for** • Studying computer science or a related field • Eager, fast-learning, comfortable asking questions and figuring things out • Available for the duration your program requires • Based in or able to work from Ghent, in-office **What you get** • Direct mentorship from our engineers and founders, not a rotation of managers • Real ownership from day one, code that actually ships • Work from Wintercircus in Ghent • A genuine shot at a full-time offer if it's a fit on both sides
