Software Engineer Intern

We're building technology that transforms how India's frontline workforce finds jobs. **About the Role** We're looking for a Software Development Engineer Intern to join our engineering team for a 6-month internship. You'll work on real, production-facing features across our stack — building and shipping code that impacts how millions of workers access job opportunities. **What You'll Do** * Build and ship features across the frontend (React) and backend (Node.js, PostgreSQL) * Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews * Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and designers on feature design and implementation * Debug and resolve issues in existing systems * Contribute to technical discussions and bring fresh perspective to engineering decisions **What We're Looking For** * Strong fundamentals in React (component architecture, state management, hooks) and Node.js (REST APIs, async patterns) * Working knowledge of PostgreSQL — schema design, queries, basic optimization * **Must have completed at least one prior internship** in a software engineering role * Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving * Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field **Good to Have** * Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) or CI/CD pipelines * Prior experience building or contributing to a production application **What You'll Get** * Hands-on experience building production systems used at scale * Direct mentorship from senior engineers * High ownership from day one — you'll ship real features, not just tickets * A front-row seat to how a fast-growing startup operates
