**About SteerAI** SteerAI is an autonomous mobility technology company powered by VentureOne, the commercialization arm of the Advanced Technology Research Council. SteerAI’s advanced AI-powered autonomy stack, developed by the Technology Innovation Institute, empowers the logistics and defense industries by turning industrial vehicles into autonomous powerhouses that can handle complex off-road missions, transform operations and protect organizations' most important assets: their workforce. **About the role** We are seeking a motivated student / fresh graduate for a 6 Months internship to help build an intelligent monitoring and analytics system for our autonomous vehicle fleet. You will build a data pipeline and a monitoring tool that helps identify potential issues early. **Key Responsibilities** Build a data pipeline to collect and structure vehicle sensor telemetry for analysis Develop a monitoring model and working dashboard that flags potential issues early Maintain clean, documented code with proper API integration practices Write comprehensive user documentation and training materials Conduct a training session for the operations team on using the tool **Qualifications** Fresh graduate or final year student in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and rule-based or trend-based analysis Familiarity with Python programming language Basic understanding of APIs and web services Familiarity with data analysis (e.g., pandas/NumPy) and basic charting or dashboard-building Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly User experience (UX) mindset and ability to design intuitive interfaces Ability to identify automation opportunities and translate them into technical solutions Strong communication skills to understand user needs and workflows **What We Offer** • Hands-on experience building production AI systems used in autonomous vehicle operations • Direct collaboration with Technology Innovation Institute (TII) AI Center • Exposure to real-world AI challenges in autonomous vehicle industry • Professional development in data engineering and applied analytics • Collaborative environment with AI researchers and autonomous robotics experts • Hands-on ownership of an analytics pilot, from data pipeline to working dashboard
