Data & AI Operations Intern

**Company Description** **What will you do?** We’re looking for someone who is curious about **AI, data and how things work behind the scenes.** You don’t need to be an expert - what matters to us is that you enjoy figuring things out, have an analytical mindset and are not afraid to try new tools. As a Data & AI Operations Intern, you’ll work closely with our Operations team and get involved in real projects that help Hiflylabs work more efficiently. You’ll have the opportunity to use **AI to solve problems, improve everyday processes and automate tasks** that can be done faster or smarter. And while we take our work seriously, we’re also looking for someone who is **easy-going, curious and fun to work with.** **Job Description** **Responsibilities:** You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, so your days won’t look exactly the same. For example: * Making things easier: If there’s a repetitive process that could be done faster or more efficiently, you’ll help figure out how to improve it - and you can use AI to help you along the way * Working with data: You’ll help organize, check and work with data used by the Operations team and learn how data supports everyday business decisions * Connecting tools: You’ll help make our everyday tools work better together and look for ways to reduce manual work * Working with AI: You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with AI tools, chatbots and workflows and see how they can be used in real business situations * Solving everyday problems: You’ll help with smaller operational tasks, troubleshoot issues and look for small improvements that can make a difference * Improving how we work: You’ll be encouraged to spot things that could work better and come up with your own ideas for improving our processes Qualifications **Requirements:** * You can work at least 25 hours per week * You’re interested in AI, data and technology and are curious about how they can be used to solve real problems * You have an analytical mindset and enjoy figuring out how things work * You’re comfortable working with Google Sheets and have some experience with data * You’re happy to use AI tools such as Gemini or Claude to help you learn, solve problems or create simple solutions * You’re organized, reliable and pay attention to details * You’re comfortable communicating in English, both written and spoken * You’re proactive - if you see something that could be done better, you’re willing to speak up and explore a solution * And most importantly: you’re a nice, easy-going person who enjoys working with others **Nice to have:** * You’ve taken part in project work at university and have some idea of how a project is planned and carried out * You’ve worked on a university project where you had to organize tasks, work with others and deliver something together * You’re curious about learning more about SQL, Python or Google Apps Script - you don’t need to know these already * You’ve had some previous work experience, internship experience or involvement in a student organization Additional Information **Why us?** * Diverse projects: In each assignment there is always something new either on the technical or on the business side that helps you grow. * Cutting edge technology: You will work with many of the most up-to-date technologies and tools. * Strong and motivating team: We stress the importance of working together in tight-knit, cohesive teams in which members help each other to reach the common goal. * Work-life balance: We help you to feel good individually as well, and coordinate work so as it should align with your leisure activities. * Professional development: There are team gatherings on a regular schedule where colleagues can share their knowledge, and have deep technical discussions. * Focus on company culture: In addition to our business and professional achievements we are proud of the social bonding in the company, which is based on mutual respect and helping one another. * Personal mentoring: You will have your own mentor (just like everybody at Hiflylabs) who you can turn to with professional issues as well as with personal ones.
