IT Intern – QA / Quality Assurance **Job Summary** We are looking for an **IT Intern – QA** to assist our team in testing software applications and ensuring that systems meet quality and functionality requirements. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing, defect identification, documentation, and QA processes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in creating and executing test cases and test scenarios. * Perform functional, regression, and basic UI testing of applications. * Identify, document, and report software bugs and defects. * Assist in reproducing reported issues and coordinating with developers for resolution. * Verify bug fixes and perform retesting as needed. * Assist in preparing and maintaining QA documentation and test reports. * Support the QA team in reviewing system requirements and specifications. * Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing activities. * Perform other QA-related tasks as assigned. **Qualifications:** * Currently pursuing a **Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field**. * Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) is an advantage. * Familiarity with manual testing, test cases, and bug reporting is a plus. * Basic knowledge of SQL/database concepts is an advantage. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Detail-oriented and willing to learn. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Able to work independently and meet assigned deadlines. **Internship Opportunity:** * Gain hands-on experience in **software quality assurance and testing**. * Exposure to actual software development and QA processes. * Opportunity to work with experienced IT and QA professionals.
