Technical Support Executive (ICT & Hydroinformatics) - Intern

Key responsibilities: * **Daily ICT maintenance** * Maintain computers, servers, network equipment, software, applications, databases, and storage. * Troubleshoot technical problems when systems or equipment fail. * **Online and manual data verification** * Check whether data entered through the online system is correct. * Check manually entered data for completeness and accuracy. * **Update observation data** * Update both manual and online observation records in the system. * Ensure the latest information is properly recorded. * **System log monitoring** * Record and review system logs. * Look for errors, failed processes, connection problems, or unusual system activity. * **Data backup and archiving** * Back up important data regularly. * Archive older data so it can be retrieved when needed. * Check that backups are working properly. * **Website maintenance** * Manage and maintain the **Hydroinformatiks website**. * This could include checking availability, updating content, troubleshooting errors, and coordinating technical fixes. * **Monthly reports** * Prepare reports on system status, maintenance activities, data issues, incidents, and work performed during the month. * **Missing-data investigation** * If online or manual data is missing, determine **why**. * For example, the problem could be a network failure, sensor/data transmission problem, database issue, application error, or manual-entry issue. * Resolve the problem or escalate it to the appropriate technical team. * **24-hour standby** * The person must be available outside normal working hours when required. * If a critical system or data problem occurs, they may need to respond and provide technical feedback.
