Software Engineer Intern

With a clear mission to bring the world’s best ethnic designs to customers’ doorsteps, Mirraw aims to further grow and dominate the ethnic wear segment in the coming years. **Role Description** As a Software Engineer Intern at Mirraw.com, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and internal tools that support our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement backend features, fix bugs, optimize performance, and ensure overall code quality. Daily activities include writing clean, testable code, reviewing existing systems, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product and design to deliver features. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. **Qualifications** * Solid foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and databases. * Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar). * Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, server-side frameworks, and integration with databases. * Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them to real-world projects. * Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively in a team, and take ownership of assigned tasks. * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices is an advantage. * Interest in e-commerce, scalable systems, and building user-centric digital products.
