Placement Student – Service Engineering (Digital and Data Analytics)

**We are looking for an enthusiastic Service Engineer to join our team specializing in Systems and Data Execution for our CBU - Components Business Unit in Huddersfield, United Kingdom** **.** **During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry.** **This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence** **Summer 2026** **. The requirements are for the successful candidate to be on-site 3 days per week. It is important that you can relocate on your own behalf, or be within a commutable distance to site.** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: * Supporting/using the CCIMS (Customer Care Information Management System) application * Compiling SQL queries using databricks * Helping develop CCIMS next generation application and Process improvement projects * Gaining an appreciation of service function/spend time in the CBU Service Lab in Huddersfield * Supporting project in the Data Analytics & Data Science functions To be successful in this role you will need the following: * We are looking applicants studying towards a degree in the following areas or similar: Data Science, Technology, Maths, Business or Project Management * An interest in Data Science and Data Analytics. * Good understanding of databases and their structures. * Ability to work successfully as part of a team with experience contributing to or leading projects.
