Android Developer Intern

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Android Developer Intern** to join our development team. The intern will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications. This internship provides hands-on experience in mobile application development and an opportunity to learn industry best practices. Key Responsibilities * Assist in developing and maintaining Android applications. * Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using **Kotlin** and/or **Java**. * Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and fix bugs. * Participate in code reviews and team meetings. * Test applications to ensure performance, usability, and reliability. * Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries. * Debug and troubleshoot application issues. * Work with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces. * Maintain project documentation and follow coding standards. * Learn and adopt modern Android development practices. Required Skills & Qualifications * Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Basic knowledge of Android app development. * Familiarity with **Kotlin** and/or **Java**. * Understanding of Android Studio and the Android SDK. * Basic knowledge of XML for Android UI design. * Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. * Familiarity with Git or other version control systems. * Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills * Knowledge of **Jetpack Compose**. * Understanding of Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation). * Familiarity with Material Design principles. * Experience with Firebase services. * Knowledge of MVVM architecture. * Understanding of app publishing on the Google Play Store is a plus.
