Internship Opportunities: Data Science, Machine Learning, Supply Chain & Marketing

Hybrid Core is looking for interns in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Supply Chain, and Business & Marketing for a 12-week internship starting in February 2027. Based in Zaventem, Belgium, we build Smart Navigator, an AI platform combining data modelling, analytics, simulation, and agentic AI. Our team helps clients understand complex operations and make better decisions. You will work alongside experienced specialists and own a concrete project from start to finish. Success means delivering useful, well-documented work, communicating your findings clearly, and completing a project suitable for your internship report. Depending on your role, you will contribute to our platform, client projects, or business growth. **Responsibilities** Your responsibilities will depend on the internship you choose: **Data Scientist Intern** * Work with domain experts to translate business questions into data requirements. * Design data models using objects, events, and relationships in Smart Navigator. * Map client data sources to these models and assess data quality. * Build dashboards that answer business users’ questions. * Present findings to the team and, where relevant, clients. **Machine Learning Engineer Intern** * Develop machine learning and forecasting models for client needs, such as demand, sales, or resource planning. * Prepare client data and engineer relevant features. * Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and explain results clearly. * Help integrate models into Smart Navigator. * Document your work so colleagues can maintain and reuse it. **Supply Chain Intern** * Map supply chain flows, stakeholders, constraints, and key performance indicators with our technical team. * Help develop simulations of disruptions, capacity changes, and demand peaks. * Define business rules and document scenario assumptions. * Analyse simulation results and translate findings into practical recommendations. **Business and Marketing Intern** * Review our marketing approach and recommend improvements based on B2B marketing practices. * Help develop and apply the Hybrid Core and Smart Navigator brands across channels. * Create LinkedIn posts, website copy, case studies, and sales materials. * Research markets and competitors to support positioning. * Support events, webinars, and marketing campaigns. **Qualifications** For all roles: * Currently studying in a field relevant to your chosen internship. * Fluent English and clear written and verbal communication skills. * A collaborative approach, curiosity, and an organised way of working. * Availability for a 12-week internship starting in February 2027, with two days per week at our Zaventem office. * Dutch or French is a plus. Role-specific qualifications: **Data Scientist Intern** * Studies in data science, computer science, business informatics, or a related field. * Good knowledge of SQL and Python, including Pandas. * Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Looker Studio. * Interest in data modelling and business operations. * Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. **Machine Learning Engineer Intern** * Studies in data science, AI, computer science, statistics, or a related field. * Solid Python skills, including Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn. * Basic understanding of version control, APIs, or cloud platforms. * A critical approach to model quality and limitations. * Knowledge of time series forecasting is a strong plus. **Supply Chain Intern** * Studies in supply chain management, logistics, business engineering, or a related field. * Understanding of procurement, inventory, transport, and distribution. * Analytical thinking and confidence working with numbers. * Excel skills and an interest in technology and data. * Ability to explain operational processes clearly to technical colleagues.
