Applied AI in Construction Internship

AITOWN is looking for an **intern/collaborator** to join a **European Research & Innovation project in digital construction and the built environment** . The opportunity is suitable for students, graduates and early-career researchers with a background in **Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related fields** who are interested in how **AI and digital technologies can transform construction, renovation and building operations** . The work will involve applied R&D around **Generative AI, BIM, Digital Twins and digital applications for construction** , with opportunities to experiment with new ideas, rapid prototyping and AI-assisted development. Waht we look for * Final-year student, graduate, MSc or PhD in **Civil, Building, Construction, Architecture or related fields** * **Strong interest, preferably with some experience, in GenAI and digital construction** * **Some exposure to BIM, coding, data or digital tools** * **Fluent English** What is noce to have * Experience with **Digital Twins, IoT, computational design or construction data** * **Experience with prototypes, apps, automation or AI-assisted coding** * **Relevant thesis, research or personal projects** The position starts as an **internship/collaboration** and may develop into a longer-term role depending on the evolution of the project and the candidate’s progress. **Location:** Italy / Hybrid **Application:** Send your CV and, if available, links to relevant projects, thesis, portfolio or work you have developed to **[email protected]** .
