**Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Intern – 6 Months** **Company:** Fawrit Technologies India Pvt Ltd **Location:** Kochi (On-site) **Employment Type:** Internship **Stipend Range:** ₹5000 to ₹10000 (Based on Performance) **Full-time conversion available based on performance** **About the Role** As an SQA Intern at Fawrit, you will work closely with the QA team, developers, product owners, and designers to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our software products. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy finding issues, thinking from an end-user’s perspective, and improving product quality through systematic testing and clear communication. **Responsibilities** * Assist in testing web and mobile applications for functionality, usability, and reliability * Execute **manual test cases** and report bugs with clear steps and evidence * Help create and maintain **test cases, checklists, and test scenarios** * Perform **regression testing** after new features and bug fixes * Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes and improvements * Assist in validating APIs, forms, and user workflows * Participate in release testing and basic quality sign-off activities * Maintain testing documentation and test reports * Follow quality standards, testing processes, and best practices **Skills Required** * Strong logical thinking and attention to detail * Basic understanding of how software applications work * Ability to clearly document issues and explain observed behavior * Good written and verbal communication skills * Willingness to learn testing methodologies and tools * Patience and discipline to perform repetitive and structured testing **Preferred Skills** * Good understanding of **software testing concepts** * Exposure to **manual testing** of web or mobile applications * Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues, or similar) * Basic understanding of **API testing** (Postman or equivalent tools) * Basic knowledge of **automation testing concepts** * Academic or personal projects involving application testing **What You Will Learn** * How quality assurance fits into real-world product development * How to design effective test cases and identify edge cases * How to collaborate with internal team to improve software quality * How release cycles and regression testing work * Introduction to automation testing and quality metrics **Growth & Conversion** Successful interns may be considered for **full-time SQA / QA Engineer roles** or may transition into **automation or product-focused quality roles**, based on performance and interest.
