QA Engineer - Fresher

Job description: We are looking for a **QA Engineer – Fresher** to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing, Python programming, and a strong interest in automation testing. This is a great opportunity for a motivated candidate to learn and work on **web and mobile application testing**, including Android and iOS automation using Appium. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and mobile applications. * Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. * Learn and perform automation testing using **Python and PyTest**. * Develop and maintain basic mobile automation scripts for Android and iOS using **Appium**. * Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools. * Work closely with developers and QA team members to understand and resolve issues. * Participate in requirement analysis and test planning. * Assist in improving automation test coverage and test frameworks. * Perform basic API testing and validate application functionality. * Follow software testing processes and contribute to delivering high-quality releases. Required Skills * Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field**. * Basic knowledge of **software testing concepts and methodologies**. * Basic knowledge of **Python programming**. * Familiarity with **PyTest** or any Python-based testing framework. * Basic understanding of **manual and automation testing**. * Basic understanding of **Android and iOS applications**. * Knowledge or academic/project-level exposure to **Appium** is preferred. * Understanding of **SDLC and STLC**. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Willingness to learn new testing tools and technologies. Preferred Skills * Academic or project experience in **Python-based automation testing**. * Basic knowledge of **Appium** and mobile automation. * Basic understanding of **API testing** and tools such as Postman. * Familiarity with **Git/GitHub**. * Knowledge of any bug-tracking or test management tool. * Basic understanding of **CI/CD concepts**. * Internship, academic project, or training experience in QA/testing will be an added advantage.
