Data Annotator – Computer Vision Intern

**Role: Data Annotator** **Intern** **– Computer Vision** Location: Delhi NCR Duration: 3 or 6 months (flexible) Stipend: ₹5,000-10,000 **About Guardex** Guardex is an IIT Kanpur incubated AI startup focused on transforming passive CCTV footage into real-time actionable insights for safety, compliance, and operational intelligence across manufacturing and logistics environments. Our systems are deployed in real-world industrial settings, enabling scalable and reliable computer vision solutions. **Role Overview** We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotator Intern to support the development and deployment of computer vision models. The role involves high-quality data labeling, dataset management, and close collaboration with AI engineers to ensure robust model performance in real-world environments. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform precise annotation of image and video data (bounding boxes, segmentation, classification, etc.) * Ensure consistency and accuracy across large-scale datasets * Validate and audit annotated data to maintain quality standards * Collaborate with AI/ML teams to refine annotation guidelines * Assist in dataset preparation for training, validation, and testing pipelines * Handle edge cases and continuously improve annotation quality through feedback loops **Required Skills** * Basic understanding of Computer Vision concepts (object detection, segmentation, tracking) * Familiarity with annotation tools (e.g., CVAT, LabelImg, Roboflow, Supervisely, etc.) * Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets * Basic proficiency in handling image/video data formats * Ability to follow structured guidelines and maintain consistency **Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)** * Exposure to deep learning workflows or CV pipelines * Familiarity with YOLO or similar detection frameworks * Basic understanding of Python for data handling * Prior experience in data annotation or dataset preparation **What You Will Gain** * Hands-on exposure to real-world computer vision systems deployed in industrial environments * Understanding of how high-quality data impacts model performance * Opportunity to work closely with AI engineers and founding team * Fast-paced startup experience with direct impact on live deployments **Note from the Founders – Aniket Goel & Naman Jain** We are looking for individuals who are meticulous, disciplined, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
