##### **About the position** **Would you like to start your career as an AI Engineer?** We are launching a paid internship program focused on building production-ready AI systems using Python, LLM technologies, and cloud platforms. You will gain hands-on experience developing real AI backend systems under technical mentorship. **What you will bring** * Studies in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related technical degree * Availability for an internship through an agreement with an academic institution * English level B2 or higher. German is a plus * Strong Python knowledge * SQL fundamentals * Basic understanding of APIs and backend development * Demonstrable interest in AI, Data, or Software Engineering * Genuine motivation to learn and grow in applied AI engineering * Familiarity with Agile methodologies **What you will do** * Design and implement Python-based backend services * Integrate LLM APIs, such as Azure OpenAI or OpenAI * Build RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases * Implement structured outputs and validation logic * Learn how to estimate and optimize AI token costs * Support the deployment of containerized AI services to Azure * Write clean, tested, production-oriented code * Gain exposure to Cloud Native Applications * Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Codex * Work as part of a Scrum team, receiving guidance and technical mentorship **WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME AN ERNIan?
