Interns will assist in writing clean and efficient code, implementing new features, fixing bugs, and optimizing app performance under the guidance of senior developers. Daily tasks may include collaborating with team members, participating in code reviews, testing applications, documenting work, and contributing to improvements in user experience. The role also involves learning best practices in mobile development and aligning project work with Weskill’s training and educational objectives. **Qualifications** * Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including problem-solving and the ability to debug and optimize code. * Candidates should possess solid Communication skills for effective collaboration, documentation, and interaction with mentors and team members. * Candidates should possess foundational Software Development and Programming skills, preferably in Java or Kotlin, and familiarity with Android SDK and related tools. * Candidates should possess basic Sales or product-awareness skills, such as understanding user needs and contributing ideas to improve app adoption and engagement. * Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), knowledge of RESTful APIs, eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. * Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, provided equivalent skills and experience can be demonstrated.
