Full Stack Development Intern

We're backed by strong traction, a passionate team, and a mission to make preventive health accessible and practical. **Who we're looking for** * Someone who can own web features end-to-end, in a small and fast-moving tech team * Excited about solving healthcare challenges through technology * Deeply passionate about modern web development (frontend and backend) * Aware of modern developer tooling, including AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codeium) for productivity * Strong in clean code, software architecture, and web performance optimisation * Able to make thoughtful decisions around database design, API design, UI/UX, and code maintainability **Roles & Responsibilities** * Build and maintain scalable, responsive web applications across the full stack * Design, implement, and test modern user interfaces and backend workflows * Write clean, high-performance, maintainable code on both client and server sides * Design and optimise database schemas (SQL/NoSQL) for performance and scalability * Build robust RESTful/GraphQL APIs and handle third-party service integrations * Collaborate cross-functionally to turn product ideas and wireframes into reality * Use AI-assisted coding tools to boost development speed and efficiency * Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous deployment workflows **Requirements** * Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React.js, Next.js, or Vue) and Node.js backend environments * Practical understanding of database design and querying (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firestore) * Familiarity with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and web state management * Experience or demonstrated understanding of web architecture, folder/project structuring, and SSR/SSG concepts * Awareness of and hands-on experience with AI-assisted developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, etc.) * Good understanding of Git, GitHub workflows, and basic CI/CD concepts * Ability to take ownership, ship features fast, and iterate rapidly based on feedback * **Bonus:** A strong GitHub/portfolio link featuring live web apps or personal open-source projects **Perks & Benefits** * Work on a high-impact health product used by millions of people * Access to our health program for your family, for free * Experience the fast-paced life of a startup—learn more in 3 months than most do in a year * Mentorship from a lean but experienced product and tech team
