QA Intern

**Position:** QA Intern **Experience:** 0–6 Months Duration - 6 Months **Location:** Ahmedabad, Gujarat **Employment Type:** Paid Internship **Work Mode:** Work from Office Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented **QA Intern** to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, a keen eye for identifying issues, and a strong willingness to learn and grow in the field of Quality Assurance. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to understand application requirements, execute test cases, identify defects, and support the overall software quality process. Key Responsibilities * Understand project requirements and functional specifications. * Assist the QA team in preparing and executing test cases and test scenarios. * Perform **manual testing** of web and software applications. * Identify, document, and report software defects/bugs. * Perform regression, functional, usability, and basic exploratory testing. * Retest resolved defects and verify fixes. * Participate in requirement discussions and team meetings. * Maintain proper testing documentation and reports. * Assist in API testing using tools such as **Postman**. * Perform basic database validation using **SQL**, when required. * Work closely with developers and QA team members to understand and resolve testing issues. * Follow established QA processes, standards, and best practices. * Continuously learn new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies. Required Skills * Basic understanding of **Software Testing concepts**. * Understanding of **SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)**. * Understanding of **STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)**. * Basic knowledge of **Manual Testing**. * Ability to understand requirements and prepare basic test scenarios/test cases. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Willingness to learn and work in a team environment. Good to Have * Basic knowledge of **API Testing**. * Familiarity with **Postman**. * Basic knowledge of **SQL and database concepts**. * Knowledge of bug/defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar tools. * Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology. Eligibility * Graduate or pursuing graduation in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering**, or a related field. * Freshers and candidates with **0–6 months of relevant experience** are welcome to apply. * Candidates with academic projects or basic hands-on experience in software testing will be preferred. What You Will Learn * Practical exposure to software testing and QA processes. * Hands-on experience with manual testing. * Understanding of real-world SDLC and STLC processes. * Exposure to API testing and database testing. * Experience working with development and QA teams. * Industry best practices for identifying and reporting software defects.
