**AI Intern** **Company:** Virtual IP LLC **Location:** United States & Canada — Remote **Internship Type:** Unpaid Internship **Compensation:** Unpaid **Schedule:** Part-Time or Full-Time options available **Eligibility:** Currently enrolled university/college students in the United States or Canada About the Role Virtual IP LLC, a U.S.-based IT services and consulting company, is seeking motivated **AI Interns** who are currently enrolled in a university or college degree program in the **United States or Canada** . This is an **unpaid educational internship** designed to provide students with practical learning opportunities and exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and related technologies. We are primarily looking for **3rd- or 4th-year students** who have completed academic, personal, research, or university-based projects involving AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Generative AI. **This opportunity is intended for currently enrolled students rather than graduates.** Where applicable, Virtual IP LLC can work with a student's university or college to support **academic/internship credit requirements** and provide relevant internship documentation. Key Responsibilities * Participate in supervised AI and Machine Learning learning projects. * Assist with developing, testing, and evaluating AI/ML concepts and prototypes. * Support data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis. * Experiment with Machine Learning models and evaluate their performance. * Gain exposure to **Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)** . * Research AI tools, models, frameworks, APIs, and emerging technologies. * Assist with prototype integrations of AI functionality into applications. * Document experiments, technical processes, results, and lessons learned. * Participate in technical discussions, mentorship sessions, and project reviews. * Collaborate with developers and technical team members in a learning-focused environment. Requirements * Currently enrolled in a **Bachelor's degree or equivalent college/university program** in: * Artificial Intelligence * Computer Science * Data Science * Software Engineering * Computer Engineering * Machine Learning * or another related technical field * **3rd- or 4th-year students are strongly preferred.** * Must currently be studying at a college or university in the **United States or Canada** . * Experience with at least **one AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Generative AI project** is preferred. * Basic to intermediate proficiency in **Python** . * Understanding of fundamental Machine Learning concepts. * Familiarity with **Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch** , or similar technologies is preferred. * Exposure to **Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Computer Vision, RAG, or AI APIs** is an advantage. * Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred. * Good analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to learn independently and participate effectively in a remote environment.
