Software Engineer Intern

**Role** : Software Engineer - Intern **Duration** : 3–6 months (extendable / convertible to full-time) **Location** : Chennai **Stipend** : ₹10,000 per month **Note** : 2026 passed outs and students who are pursuing degree please do not apply as it a full-time onsite opportunity. **About the Role** We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineering Intern to join our development team and work on real-world products. You’ll collaborate with engineers and designers to build, test, and deploy scalable web applications. This role offers full-stack exposure with opportunities to learn modern frameworks, API development, DevOps workflows, and agile practices. **Key Responsibilities** * Work with senior developers to design, develop, test, and deploy features. * Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in JavaScript (Node.js, React, etc.). * Assist in developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend applications. * Collaborate with UI/UX teams to refine user experience and interface designs. * Debug and optimize existing code for performance and scalability. * Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions. * Learn and contribute to CI/CD, containerization, and version control best practices. **Education Qualification** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Equivalent practical experience is also considered. **Required Skills** * Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. * Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, or similar frameworks. * Basic knowledge of Git, REST APIs, and JSON. * Understanding of frontend–backend integration. * Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. * Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment. **Good to Have** * Experience with TypeScript, Express, or MongoDB/MySQL. * Understanding of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger). * Awareness of Agile/Scrum workflows. * Contributions to open-source or personal GitHub projects. **Learning Outcomes** * End-to-end understanding of building scalable web apps. * Hands-on experience with a modern tech stack (React, Node, DB). * Exposure to professional development workflows, CI/CD, and GitOps.
