Software Engineer

**Company Description** Nometria is building the infrastructure layer for the next generation of software creators. Through OwnMyApp, our 1-click CI/CD platform, developers can take apps built on tools like Lovable and Base44 and deploy them as production-grade systems with full control over data, performance, and scalability. We focus on helping builders move from prototype to real-world applications without needing deep DevOps expertise. **Role Description** This is a remote internship for a **Software Engineer (Frontend-focused)** at Nometria. This is a **customer-facing role** . You will work closely with users of OwnMyApp to help them successfully deploy, debug, and improve their applications. Most of your work will involve: * Handling **customer requests and edge-case issues** * **Making small but critical changes in frontend and integration code** * **Ensuring the platform remains stable and reliable** for all users Nometria is largely a **self-serve platform** , so your role is to step in when things break, behave unexpectedly, or need customization beyond standard flows. You will need to have at least **4 hours of overlap with PST (US time zone)** to support customers effectively. This role is fast-paced and execution-heavy. You’ll gain hands-on experience working directly with real users and production systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Debug and resolve **customer-reported issues** (primarily frontend and integration-related) * Implement **small feature requests and UI fixes** across customer apps * Work with internal tools and platform code to ensure smooth deployments * Investigate and fix **edge cases in AI-generated or vibe-coded apps** * **Communicate clearly with users to understand problems and provide solutions** * **Ensure high reliability of the self-serve platform** **Qualifications** * Strong fundamentals in Computer Science * Experience with **frontend development (React / Next.js preferred)** * **Good understanding of JavaScript, APIs, and debugging** * **Ability to quickly understand and modify existing codebases** * **Strong problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or edge-case scenarios** * **Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment** * **Good communication skills** **Nice to have:** * Familiarity with AWS or cloud deployments * Experience working with AI-generated code or low-code platforms **Additional Notes** * This is an **internship/contractual role (₹25K–₹30K/month)** with potential to convert to full-time * High ownership role with direct exposure to users and real-world systems * Ideal for someone who enjoys debugging, shipping fast, and working close to customers
