Machine Learning Engineer Intern

The role You will work on real ML and software engineering tasks across different stages of the ML lifecycle - not toy problems. Depending on your background, you may focus on data processing, model development, or supporting deployment workflows. What you'll do * Support development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models * Work with data pipelines, experiments, and model iterations * Help integrate ML models into larger software systems * Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and drive them to completion * Document your work and share learnings with the team What you bring * Enrolled in or recently completed BSc/MSc in Computer Science, ML, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field * Solid Python fundamentals * Understanding of core ML concepts: classification, regression, model evaluation * Familiarity with generative AI concepts (Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API, or similar) * Motivated to work independently on defined tasks * Fluent English (German is a plus) Nice to have * Hands-on experience building ML models outside of coursework * Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn What we offer * Remote-first with full flexibility (CET ±2–3h) * Mentorship directly with C-level leaders * Investment in your personal development and certifications * Regular team offsites and retreats * Real ownership on cutting-edge AI projects from day one
