← All roles Internship Robotics Software Intern Boston, MA * IAP / Winter 2027 & Summer 2027 We are looking for an early-career engineer who wants to build software for robots performing real manufacturing work. You will work directly with physical systems while contributing to robot behaviors, controls, AI agents, and workflow tools. **What You May Work On** Implement and test robot behaviors involving manipulation, motion, controls, tool use, and machine interaction. Build AI agents and workflow tools that turn instructions, demonstrations, and process data into executable robot behavior. Run experiments on physical systems, evaluate performance, diagnose failures, and improve reliability. **What We Are Looking For** Evidence of software or robotics ability through projects, research, open-source work, coursework, or independent builds. Working ability in Python, C++, or another language used for robotics and AI systems. The ability to learn unfamiliar systems, run careful experiments, and debug interactions between software and hardware. Who this is for Early-career engineers with software or robotics ability, working knowledge of Python, C++, or comparable robotics languages, and the ability to debug software-hardware interactions.
