Software Engineer Intern

**Compensation:** $26.00–$35.00 per hour **Start Date:** Spring **Department:** Engineering Research & Development **Why We Have This Role:** This role focuses on software development and energy systems. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development and porting of code for a next-generation controller platform. You will report to the Software Development Manager overseeing the project. **Things You Will Do:** * Collaborate with a team developing the next-generation platform for RF and DC power generators * Port application code from an older platform to a newer platform using C++ **Candidate Requirements:** * Current third- or fourth-year engineering student * Familiarity with the C++ programming language * Familiarity with VHDL * Familiarity with MATLAB * Familiarity with Python **Highlights:** * Six-month co-op assignment within a functional area, offering students a comprehensive and engaging experience before, during, and after the program * Meaningful work and project assignments * Networking opportunities with peers and executives * Exposure to different business divisions * Intern/Co-op Term: Spring internship in Rochester, NY **Application Information:** * Applications are subject to profile evaluation as part of the recruitment process.
